ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ 6 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਲਸੇ ਦੀ ਜਨਮ ਭੂਮੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਕਰਾਨਾ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤਖਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕੇਸਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਨਤਮਸਤਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਆਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੜਾਅਵਾਰ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਮਿਲੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਕਰਾਨੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸ਼ੁਕਰਾਨਾ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੀ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਚੌਂਕ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ, ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਵਿਧਾ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਪੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰੇ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਸੁਵਿਧਾ ਨਾ ਆਵੇ। ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਪੜਾਅਵਾਰ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚੇਗੀ।
ਯਾਤਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਦਮਦਮਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਮਸਤੂਆਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਦੁੱਖ ਨਿਵਾਰਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਫਤਹਿਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਕਰਾਨਾ ਅਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ।
ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਇਹ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਇਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ, ਨਿਮਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਰੂਹ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜੇਗੀ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਅਦਿਤਿਆ ਡੇਚਲਵਾਲ, ਵਧੀਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਚੰਦਰ ਜਯੋਤੀ ਸਿੰਘ, ਐਸਡੀਐਮ ਸੁਖਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਡੀਐੱਸਪੀ ਜਸ਼ਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ, ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀਤਾ, ਵਪਾਰ ਮੰਡਲ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਇੰਦਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਤੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਪਤਵੰਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will begin the “Shukrana Yatra” on May 6 from Sri Anandpur Sahib, the birthplace of the Khalsa. On this occasion, he will first pay obeisance at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib and seek the blessings of the Guru, after which the yatra will proceed in phases.
Providing information in this regard, Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that this yatra is being undertaken as an expression of gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people of Punjab. He added that a special meeting has been held with the district administration to ensure smooth arrangements for the yatra. The Chief Minister will start the yatra from Guru Ravidas Chowk in Sri Anandpur Sahib. Comprehensive arrangements are being made for security, transportation, and public convenience to avoid any inconvenience.
Harjot Singh Bains further stated that the yatra will proceed in phases through Rupnagar and will reach major religious places across Punjab. It will cover Sri Amritsar Sahib, Damdama Sahib, Mastuana Sahib, Dukh Nivaran Sahib, and Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. He said that the main purpose of this yatra is to express gratitude to the Gurus.
Harjot Singh Bains said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to the welfare of the people. He added that this yatra is a special initiative to thank for the service entrusted through the blessings of the Guru. It will further strengthen the message of brotherhood, humility, and service in the state and connect people with the spirit of Punjab.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Aditiya Dachlwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Chander Jyoti Singh, SDM Sukhpal Singh, DSP Jashandeep Singh, former Municipal Council President Harjit Singh Jeeta, Traders’ Association President Inderjit Singh Arora, and other dignitaries were present.
