ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਚਲਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਅਸਲਾ ਐਕਟ ਅਧੀਨ ਦਰਜ਼ ਮੁਕਦਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਥਾਣਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵੱਲੋ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋ ਇੱਕ ਦੇਸੀ ਕੱਟਾ .315 ਬੋਰ ਅਤੇ 01 ਜਿੰਦਾ ਰੌਦ ਬ੍ਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਐਸ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਗੁਲਨੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੁਰਾਣਾ ਵਲੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਲੋਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਾਕਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਸ਼ਤਾ ਰਾਂਹੀ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭੈੜੇ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਜੋ ਥਾਣਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਟੀ-ਪੁਅਇੰਟ ਪਿੰਡ ਚੰਡੇਸਰ ਮੋੜ ਬਾਹੱਦ ਪਿੰਡ ਲੰਗਮਜਾਰੀ ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਦੋਰਾਨ ਮੋਜੂਦ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮੋਨਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਉਦਾ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜੋ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖੜੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਇਕ ਦੱਮ ਘਬਰਾ ਕੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜਨ ਲੱਗਾ। ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵੱਲੋ ਮੋਕਾ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪਤਾ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਅਨਿਲ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਉਰਫ ਅਨਿਲ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਰੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਵਾਸੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਗੰਗੂਵਾਲ ਥਾਣਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜਿਲਾ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਚੈਕ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋ ਇੱਕ ਦੇਸੀ ਕੱਟਾ .315 ਬੋਰ ਅਤੇ 01 ਜਿੰਦਾ ਰੌਦ ਬ੍ਰਾਮਦ ਹੋਏ।
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਥਾਣਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਅਸਲਾ ਐਕਟ ਤਹਿਤ ਮੁਕੱਦਮਾ ਦਰਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
The campaign being run by the Rupnagar Police against anti-social elements, in a case registered under the Arms Act, a person was arrested by the Sri Anandpur Sahib Police Station and a country-made .315 bore and 01 live ammunition were recovered from him.
SSP Rupnagar Gulneet Singh Khurana while giving further information said that the district police was checking drug smugglers and bad elements in the district through blockades and patrols at various places. The police party of Sri Anandpur Sahib Police Station was present at T-Point village Chandesar Mor Bahad village Langamjari during the checking, when they saw a man coming, who got scared after seeing the police party standing in front and started turning back. The police party caught hold of him and asked him his name and address. He told them his name was Anil Kumar alias Anil, son of Naresh Kumar, resident of village Ganguwal, police station Sri Anandpur Sahib, district Rupnagar. On checking him, a country-made .315 bore and 01 live ammunition were recovered from him. He was arrested and a case was registered against him under the Arms Act at police station Sri Anandpur Sahib.
