National Space Day celebrated at British Laureate School

ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਲੌਰੀਏਟ ਸਕੂਲ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਾੜ ਖੋਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੁਲਾੜ ਦਿਵਸ ਮਨਾਇਆ। ਇਹ ਦਿਨ 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਦਰਯਾਨ-3 ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਦਿਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਵਿਕਰਮ ਲੈਂਡਰ ਨੇ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਤ੍ਹਾ ‘ਤੇ ਸਾਫਟ ਲੈਂਡਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਿਆਨ ਰੋਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤਾ।ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਭਾਰਤ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ‘ਤੇ ਉਤਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਚੌਥਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਧਰੁਵੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ। ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਨੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾਣ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁਲਾੜ ਮਿਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਇਆ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਜਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਸਿਖਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੀਨਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਉਤਸੁਕਤਾ ਦੀ ਉਸੇ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਭਾ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ, ਸਗੋਂ ਪੁਲਾੜ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਇੱਛਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਜਮਾਤ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜੀ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਕੇਟ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ । ਅਤੇ ਰਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਮਾਡਲ ਬਣਾਏ। ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਗੈਲਰੀ ਵਾਕ ਵੀ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਾਕੇਟ ਮਾਡਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਤਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਲਾੜ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਲਚਸਪ ਝਲਕ ਮਿਲੀ। ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਸਿਖਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ, ਰਚਨਾਤਮਕਤਾ, ਨਵੀਨਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੁਲਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
The British Laureate School celebrated National Space Day with enthusiasm, highlighting India’s remarkable achievements in space exploration. The day commemorates the historic success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission in 2023, when the Vikram lander made a soft landing on the lunar surface and deployed the Pragyan rover. With this achievement, India became the fourth country to land on the moon and the first to reach the South Polar region. The school’s principal, Mrs. Bhavana Sharma, said that this achievement brought immense pride to every Indian and ignited dreams of future space missions. She said that the school’s celebrations aim to inspire young learners with the same spirit of innovation and scientific curiosity. A special assembly was organized on the occasion where students delivered speeches on India’s journey from Earth to the Moon and other related topics. Their words not only reflected pride in India’s achievements but also aspirations for the country’s future in space science. On this occasion, a poster making competition for classes I and II and a rocket making competition for classes III to V were organized. and creative models were made. The teachers also set up a gallery walk featuring working rocket models, which gave the students an interesting glimpse of space technology. The young learners participated with great enthusiasm, gaining knowledge about India’s progress in space while promoting creativity, innovation and national pride.
